I am excited to launch this site as a place to gather my writing, podcast, inspirations, and whatever else seems worth sharing in the future. 

The world of education is changing. I am working to figure out where I will situate myself in that new landscape. One of the main purposes of this site will be to make the case that school needs to shift toward much greater autonomy for young people. This has not only been the most successful approach in my conventional school teaching experience (when you can squeeze it in), but there is significant, compelling evidence that this is a key to success in our kids' future. 

I am excited about sharing what I’m learning and look forward to an ongoing, spirited dialogue.
